Nice Airport (NCE)
www.nice.aeroport.fr is ideally located for access to the whole of the Cote d'Azur (French Riviera), and also good access to Italy via Menton which runs into the Italian Riviera and Liguria.
There are many operators to Nice from the UK and Ireland, including easyJet, Aer Lingus, Flybe, bmibaby, Jet2.com, British Airways, Air France.

Carcassone Airport (CCF)
www.carcassonne.aeroport.fr offers good access to south-east France and the Languedoc. Ryanair offer flights from several airports in UK and Ireland.

Trains

France has an excellent rail transport system with high-speed trains between most major cities and of course the international Eurostar which means you can travel from London and be in the centre of France within 3 hours.

By Car

Traveling by car from the UK, the quickest way is via Eurotunnel trains which carry all types of vehicles through the channel tunnel (travel time – 35 minutes). Once you arrive in France there is an extensive motorway system, and you can also use trains to carry your car between destinations to cut down on long drives, especially useful during the summer holiday season.
